Angela has held international executive positions, mainly in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and investment banking. She has completed numerous corporate operations, and international transactions, mainly in the financial, real estate and hospitality sectors, as well as restructuring and alternative finance.
While at BBVA, she held several positions, including Director of Investment Banking and member of the Risk Committee of the Iberia Special Situation Assets unit, member of the Executive Committee of BBVA Consumer Finance and the Digital Bank Uno-e Bank, and Head of Corporate Development for the acquisitions of Consumer Finance, Insurance and Financial Institutions in Europe, Asia, USA and Brazil. Prior to that she headed the Corporate Finance and M&A European FIG team in Spain at KPMG. Previously, she worked at PWC Corporate Finance, Bankinter, Citibank, and All Trading AVB.
She is also Founder & CEO of Aglaia Capital, a Corporate Finance and Alternative Financing advisory boutique with focus on Real Estate, Hotels, Fintech Blockchain, and consultancy services in digital transformation of financial institutions with tokenizations. Ángela was a strategic partner, and is Vice Chairman and Advisory Board of Fair Value Capital (UK), an affiliated Private Office and Corporate Finance boutique in London.
She is speaker at Economic Forums, active in the international M&A, Fintech and Blockchain space, passionate about decentralised technologies and cooperation business models. Featured among others as Top Fintech Influencer, Top Women Leaders and Elite league of innovative entrepreneurs.

Juan Miguel Gómez

Juan Miguel Gómez Berbís is a Full Professor (Catedrático de Universidad) at the Department of Computer Science in the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He is also a seasoned IT entrepreneur, who held positions as Managing Partner and co-founder at Nimbeo and Universo iDEA, both cutting-edge high-tech startups.
Dr. Gómez Berbís holds a PhD from the Digital Enterprise Research Institute (DERI) at National University of Ireland, Galway and an MBA at the IE Business School. He received his Master Thesis in Software Engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne (Switzerland) and an Msc. in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM).
Dr. Gómez Berbís has led European projects from FP5, FP6 and FP7, ITEA2, EUREKA, H2020 and, currently, Horizon Europe programs, together with National Research projects, with a total funding of 24 M€. He has published over two hundreded scientific international publications via books, journals, conferences and workshop contributions. His current research interests include the Semantic technologies, Interoperability and Artificial Intelligence.
